A record, kept for you.

Every PRESTAZIONE paddle is traceable to the hour it was finished, the hands that finished it, and every owner who has carried it since. The vault is private, encrypted, and yours.

PRESTAZIONE began, like most things worth making, in the back of someone else's workshop. In the spring of 2023, a retired Milanese racket-maker named Armando handed Giuseppe Falaschi a teardrop-shaped prototype he had been quietly building for two years — a paddle made from aerospace carbon, with a hand-cured EVA core and a gold motif laid by brush. It was not a racket. It was an object with a point of view.

Giuseppe, who had apprenticed under Armando two decades earlier, played with it for a week. When he returned to the workshop, he asked if he could make more. Armando told him the same thing he had been told at the start of his own career: "Make it slowly, make it right, and make few."

The first Prima Serie paddle left the atelier in September 2024. Eight hundred and eighty-seven more were promised, each to be built in the same room, by the same hands, to the same standard. When the last one ships, the series is closed. The tooling is retired. No reissue, no refresh, no apology.

This page, and the vault it links to, exist to keep that promise auditable — not only by us, but by you.

The House

A short history.

1996
Giuseppe Falaschi apprentices under Armando Stigliani
At sixteen, Giuseppe begins a seven-year apprenticeship in Armando's Milanese racket shop — one of the last in the city still making tennis frames by hand.
2003
Graduates to the bench
Giuseppe is given his own bench. Over the next twenty years he will build for a discreet clientele of collectors and professionals, under other names.
2023
Armando hands over the prototype
After two years of private experiments, Armando places a teardrop paddle in Giuseppe's hands and asks him to "make it slowly, make it right, and make few."
2024
The atelier opens in Isola
PRESTAZIONE is founded in a top-floor atelier above a courtyard in Milano's Isola district. Four benches, four craftsmen, one paddle at a time.
2024
Prima Serie 001 ships
The first Prima Serie paddle leaves the atelier in September. It is delivered by hand, in a Milano taxi, to a player in Monza.
2026
501 remaining
The Prima Serie enters its final third. When the 888th paddle ships, the tooling is retired and the series is closed.
The Founder

I am not trying to reinvent padel. I am trying to make one paddle, as well as it can be made, for the player who already understands why that matters.

— Giuseppe Falaschi, Founder
Authentication

A paddle that remembers itself.

Counterfeits are the silent tax on anything worth owning. We built our vault so the tax can never be collected on a PRESTAZIONE.

— 01

Sealed QR

A 1 cm encrypted QR code is laminated beneath the finish on the handle throat. It cannot be replicated without destroying the paddle it sits on.

— 02

Private Vault

Scanning the code opens a private, owner-only page in the vault. Production date, master's signature, weight, and balance are logged permanently.

— 03

Transferable Ownership

If you sell or gift the paddle, ownership is transferred by the atelier, not by a marketplace. Every hand the paddle has passed through is recorded.

— 04

Lifetime Verified

Any player, buyer or insurer can verify authenticity by scanning the paddle's QR from the Verify page. No account required.

Your number, your record.

The vault opens the moment your paddle is numbered. It closes only when you decide to transfer it — or never.
